One woman out of a bunch of 1000 women is born with a uterus in shape of a heart (bicornuate).
However, this is not luck but an abnormality affecting women.
This woman from Russia was born with the same disability. Doctors told her she will never be fortunate enough to conceive a child in her womb. But she proved all wrong and came out with flying colors.
The woman didn’t only conceive, but she conceived twins. All the doctors were shocked after they saw the case.
As this condition is considered to be a disability, it becomes really hard to give birth to a child and only a dozen cases with a condition like this have happened in the history.
Actress Lena Dunham also revealed this year about her womb which suggested that she also has the disorder.
Due to some complication and differently shaped uterus, the woman from Russia had to go under a Caesarean section birth method to bring those two little lives out of her and into this beautiful world.
She was blessed with a baby boy who weighed 7lbs and a baby girl who weighed a little less than 6lbs. Both the kids were born healthy despite the womb. The baby boy was named Evgeny and the girl was named Varvara.
Though the chances of getting pregnant are not decreased due to the heart shape of the womb, the probability of a miscarriage is increased seemingly very high.
