Mom thought she was not pregnant, but she was wrong twice: Soon the twins were born

A resident of Australia did not know that she was pregnant until it was time for childbirth, but the main surprise of nature was ahead. The mother had to give birth a week later, and not once, but twice – in different places.

Annie Tupou from the Mornington Peninsula in the Australian state of Victoria said that for several months she did not notice any changes in her body. According to the mother, who already has eight children, she has not recovered at all. The only thing that bothered Annie was being tired from time to time.

Annie’s world was turned upside down when she went to the doctor who told her she was pregnant. Moreover, the woman had been pregnant for six months. The news surprised Annie, even though her husband had long suspected that something was wrong.

This was not the last surprise. A week and a half later, as soon as Annie was getting used to the idea that after three months she would again become a mother of a baby, she began to contractions – right at home. Mom did not even have time to go for an ultrasound to look at the baby in the womb.

I leaned over to see the baby’s head and went into midwifery mode as my husband was in Sydney for work. I had blankets and towels with me. The baby was born at 03:45,” Annie recalls.

After the birth, the mother called an ambulance, which took her with the newborn baby to the hospital. Already there, the midwives, having examined the patient, began to shout: “The code is blue,” and only then explained to Annie that another child was on the way. Two hours later, a second girl was born.

The twins have been named Tilila and Leilani and, like most premature babies, will remain in the hospital for several months. Now the proud and slightly surprised mother says she has ten children.

The road to recovery will be long, but they are here, and now I have 10 children, each of whom is less than ten years old. Of these, five boys and five girls are my full-fledged family,” Annie said.
