The Radford family is making headlines for the latest addition to their ever-growing brood. Parents Sue and Noel will soon be proud parents of 22 kids.
According to ITV, Sue Radford, a 44-year-old woman from Britain, has been having children with her 48-year-old husband Noel for three decades. The couple met as young teens. Their first child was born when she was 14 and he was 18.
Today, they’re parents to a double dozen of children that range from toddlers to adults. To make things even more interesting, their eldest have started to welcome offspring of their own, so the Radfords have a couple of grandchildren in the mix as well.
The family was featured in a documentary series called “15 Kids and Counting” back when the brood was a bit smaller. The series was revamped to “16 Kids and Counting” and then “20 Kids and Counting” as the family expanded.
The Radfords also have an active YouTube channel with over 100,000 subscribers. They share videos of everyday events and activities, allowing viewers a peek into their chaotic lives.
In 2018, the Radfords told their followers that they were done having children. In a new video, Sue laughed as she announced their change in plans. She took a video of the ultrasound process with her husband and a couple of kids in tow.
“I wonder if it will be 11 of each,” she said, musing on the baby’s gender. She said that it feels like a boy. She would certainly know!
The Radfords have been a subject of fascination since their first appearance on British television. Viewers want to know everything about raising that many kids, and Sue and Noel don’t mind dishing the details.
They’ve revealed that they wash almost 40 pounds of clothes a day. If they want to go out to dinner, it costs around $200. Packing for a vacation requires seven suitcases and military-like attention to detail. Despite the difficulties of having such a large flock, however, Sue insists that she wouldn’t want it any other way.
